That is not the look of enjoyment, LOL.
The eyes say it all… seriously mom, was that really necessary???
Showing off his Bonds Singlet all the way from Australia :) still with the sad eyes!

Andrew and mommy had fun at a Christmas event at a nearby park, while Grandma Lynne took care of Ethan :)
Bet you didn’t know it could “snow” in 80 degree weather! I also bet you didn’t know that when your child loses one of his white croc shoes in the snow, it is NOT easy to find. Let’s just say it involved clearing the snow mountain of about 50 kids, enlisting the help of two other adults, and digging away at ice while freezing your fingers to the bone to free the partially frozen shoe from it. Note to mommy: crocs are not a good choice for snow climbing.
Are words really necessary? cause I have no idea what was going on here. Andrew says he was freezing the snow like Cold Miser in The Miser Brothers Christmas.
The obligatory hay ride – the horses were gorgeous, the tacky sign not so much.
The obligatory Santa pic – not sure about the reindeer and helper
Santa came through the neighborhood in a fire engine last week – Andrew was rather excited to get a candy cane from his helper.
Andrew loves holding his little brother (with close supervision)
The view from my eyes
Holding on to Aunt Jenn
Looking at Aunt Jenn
Andrew giving Ethan a bottle (again, close supervision!)
Snug as a bug in a rug :)
This is the … there is no way you are going to wake me up and get me to drink another ounce of milk.. face
I keep finding this little yellow construction vehicle next to Ethan – looks like Andrew is willing to share at least ONE of his toys, LOL.
For anyone who hasn’t already heard… we’ve had a very busy few weeks! We got a phone call three weeks ago that we had been selected by a birthmom to adopt her baby. Fast forward three weeks and here we are :) We will forever be grateful for the amazing gift she has given our family.
Ethan was born November 29th and weighed 8lbs 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long :) He is a beautiful little boy (if we do say so ourselves) and we are enjoying him so much. He had his first checkup today and is already up to 9 lbs 1 oz – looks like he’s taking after his big brother, LOL. The doctor said he looks great :)

Scooping out some slimy seeds and stuff.
Closely supervised carving….
Drum roll please………. the finished product :)
We took a surprise trip over to see Aunt Jenn and cousins Alex and Rachel last weekend. Here’s a look at the fun we had!
Just being silly :)
Alex in the hay, looking at the HUGE inflatable slide and NOT the camera :)
The previously mentioned huge inflatable slide :)
Here comes Andrew!
Rachel bravely attemping the slide with Jenn – I know that look as its been on my face many times while doing things with Jenn. Do not even ask me about white water rafting with her, lets just say it wasn’t pretty and I have pictures to prove it.
All aboard for a train ride around the park!
A prime example of what 99 percent of the group pictures we take end up looking like. Not sure what part of look at the camera and smile is so confusing… but apparently it is a difficult task! In their defense, we did ask them to just make silly faces in this one because we had flat out given up on getting a “pretty” picture.
The church around the corner from us had a fall festival with fun things to do. Here is Andrew’s first experience with a bungee trampoline jumpy thingy.
Getting ready…
Not so sure…..
Ok… yep, this is fun!
Andrew started Pre-K at a Christian school a couple of weeks ago, and loves it! Here are some pictures from his first day.
Uniform laid out and ready to go :)
Cereal and toast – yum :) Cereal bowl with a built in straw – one of our favorite things!
Sheesh mom – enough with the pictures, can a boy just eat his breakfast in peace?
Off we go :)
The bus drops him off on the Tues/Thursdays from the school he goes to for speech therapy. He LOVES the bus :) He wanted to ride it last year, but I was not ready for that yet, LOL. So this year I decided to let him do it – and did I mention he loves it??
And what do you suppose happens after he gets home from a long day at school? Tuesday/Thursday he is gone from 7:30 to 2. Maybe there is still a tiny bit of baby left in him :) I’d like to think so anyway!
