To the Park
We took the kids to the park while Jenn was visiting for Christmas :) Ethan’s first trip to a park.
Whatever you do, do not look at the camera, boys!
Warning: Do not attempt this at home, it is much harder than you remember it being and you will regret it the next day.
I don’t advise trying this either…

Christmas with Grandma and Pop Pop
After opening things at our house, we headed over to Grandma and Pop Pop’s house for lunch and more presents!
Ready, Set, Open!!
Boys and their Transformers :) some burping action with Ethan going on in the background.
Rachel and her baby girl :)
Ethan and his Hess car racer from Grandma and Pop Pop – they got one for each of the boys :)
Stockings all around.
There were a lot of presents for everyone, even the adults joined in the fun. Rachel got a pogo stick, jumping is not an easy trick! The boys got cars and bouncy balls, silly putty was given to all. A candy cane and spinning top were given to each by grandma and pop pop. Bowling fun for Alex, an erector set for Andrew… rattles, clothes and baby toys for little Ethan too. I’m sure I’m forgetting half the stuff these lucky kids were given… but I’m mostly asleep while typing this and need a caffeine fixin.
Hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas and got to spend time with family and friends!
Christmas at Our House
Just a glimpse of Christmas presents and fun :)
Grandma Lynne brought over a Gingerbread House for Andrew to devour! Don’t worry Ethan, next year you’ll get to help Andrew out!
Andrew’s main present– Wii Mario Kart. Chuck and I finally got Wii for Christmas this year.
Checking Ethan’s stocking for him (ever the helpful big brother)
Christmas – Family pictures
Here is our Christmas family pic… we tried to get Ethan to look at the camera, but well… he just wasn’t having any of it. Don’t worry Ethan, you’ll be an old pro at it soon enough and Andrew will show you how to smile and say cheese when mommy points the camera at you!
Too bad daddy wasn’t holding the camera, since that was who they were looking at!
See Ethan, this is how it’s done! Look at the camera, smile big, and then mommy will leave you alone :)
How’s this for a smile?
Look who came for Christmas :)
Aunt Jenn, Alex and Rachel surprised Andrew with a Christmas visit. We knew they were coming but kept it from Andrew for a Christmas surprise :)
Hug? or tackle? likely both!
Rachel’s first look at Ethan (other than pictures). Poor Alex had a cold, so we kept a safe distance between him and Ethan for this visit!
We got Rachel a girl baby doll for Christmas since she won’t be getting any baby girl cousins (from Chuck and I anyway!).
Rachel holding Ethan for the first time – notice the baby doll that was “abandoned” off to the side, LOL.
