Pinatas and Ball Games

For the past two years on their shared birthday, Rachel and Pop Pop have gone to see their favorite baseball team play. The following pictures of Rachel's birthday pinata will show how their favorite team played vs their opponents.

First up for our home team is Alex... notice the fine grip and look of determination to get the job done!

Batting for the opposing team... it's Pop Pop with a fine demonstration of their batting skills (or lack thereof...)

Looks like our team is up again... notice the fine batting stance!

And once more the opposing team... someone really should tell them to open their eyes!

And last up is our newest team player just telling the away team exactly which area of the
ball park he'll be hitting the ball out of!

Boys Love.....

Leaving handprints all over (this one left on mommies side of the bed - thanks for leaving a piece of chocolate for me to find, daddy!)

Big splashes

and bugs -- look closely! this is the size bug that mommy is ok with, LOL.

Things I love

Daddy's truck! I couldn't wait to climb in it when daddy got home every day.
Sadly it died and we had to get rid of it, so here I am enjoying it for the last time.

Just being silly :)

Riding my scooter "coo coo" with daddy everyday when he gets home from work.

Cold pool water --- ok, maybe not so much!

Easter happenings

Um... I think I may need a bigger basket!

Not much hunting going on here!

These eggs are pretty and all... but can we eat them?

Easter Basket goodies...

The rare family photo op....

Alex!

Alex and I are best buddies (when not pinning each other to the ground!) Here are some pictures from our trip to the museum.

Here we are with Rachel and grandpa looking at some sting rays in the water tank.

Alex the weatherman predicts some clouds in the near future....

Yep... he was right!

Or maybe there is some ice in his future?

If that fails... a sandy desert or the beach may work just as well :)

Rachel!

My cousin Rachel and I are buddies too, she um "tolerates" me nicely!

She is brave!!

Future archeologist?

Cheers!

How to look really cool at a block party

Always wear your coolest shades and leave mommy standing on the sidewalk wondering how her baby got to be such a big boy.

Pretend your mommy is not following you around with a camera.
Act like you are interested in the cute ducks and hope that the cute little girl notices you (make sure your cool shades are off so she can see your handsome brown eyes).
Hang out in the firetruck - it's impossible to look anything but cool in there.

And most importantly - do NOT dance at the party... leave that to daddy and grandma!
